Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Last Updated: May 1, 2026

1. Information We Collect

The Ramsey Group ("we," "our," or "us") collects information you provide directly to us, such as when you:

  • Fill out our contact forms or request consultations
  • Communicate with us via email, phone, or other channels
  • Subscribe to our newsletters or updates
  • Participate in surveys or provide feedback
  • Use our website and services

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our M&A advisory services
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send you information about our services and industry insights
  • Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Protect against fraud and ensure transaction security

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We maintain strict confidentiality and do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except:

  • To trusted service providers who assist in our operations
  • When required by law or to protect our legal rights
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With your explicit consent

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure data transmission, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Attorney-Client Privilege

Communications between you and The Ramsey Group may be protected by attorney-client privilege. We take this privilege seriously and maintain strict confidentiality of all client communications and transaction details.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use a small amount of strictly necessary, first-party browser storage to make this website work. This site does not load third-party analytics, advertising, social-media, or mapping/embed scripts, and we do not use cross-site tracking cookies.

  • Theme preference— your light/dark display choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site renders in your preferred mode on return visits.
  • Assessment hand-off— if you complete the MAPS framework assessment, your results are held temporarily in your browser's session storage to pre-fill the contact form, and are cleared when that browser session ends.

Where we add any non-essential cookies or scripts in the future, our consent banner controls them on a per-category basis. Visitors in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked to opt in before any non-essential storage is set; visitors elsewhere are shown a notice and may opt out. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request.

You can review or change your choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, or through your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your personal information
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt-out of marketing communications
  • File a complaint with regulatory authorities

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the effective date.
